Zuhé Beads & Crafts is owned by Denise De Moya, a jewelry designer and art lover. Denise was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertisement and specialized in Corporate Public Relations. Art, in all its forms, is her passion... handcrafts, floral design, painting, dancing, cooking, music, and more recently jewelry design & belly dancing.

The idea of opening this bead store came from her passion for jewelry making and the fact that there was an empty niche at the store’s location in Miami, Florida. The store’s name, Zuhé, means “sun” or “God of Sun” in an ancient culture. This symbol of light, truth, and life has been incorporated into the store’s logo. The sun’s spiritual, mystical, and physical attributes are known to bring prosperity, health, protection, realization, life, wealth, and the purest form of love, among other.

 

Zuhé Beads & Crafts is a bead store with a personality. Following her Lebanese roots, Denise has created an Arabian / Middle Eastern ambiance (with a hint of India) in the store.  The wall colors, the decorative accents and the music will transport clients and visitors to an Arabian world where strands of semi-precious stones & beads, wires, gold & silver findings, tools, loose beads & stones, custom-made jewelry, art, and gifts rule.
