Classes

We share our passion for jewelry-making by offering classes for all designer levels.  Every month our class schedule will include the following list of courses, as well as other class options only available during that particular month. These limited-time-offer classes will be posted at our website or on the store’s “Class Schedule Board”.  Please contact us to find out more about our jewelry & beading classes!

 

Basic Techniques:

 

Stringing (Necklaces & Bracelets) – With this basic stringing technique students will learn how to design and create a necklace and a bracelet.

Materials Needed:  Stringing wire; favorite beads, stones & findings; crimps; open rings; toggles/clasps/hooks.

Duration: 1½  hours                                            Cost: $25.00

 

Multi-Strand Necklace – With this basic stringing technique students will learn how to design and create a necklace of two or more strands of beads / stones. One (1) piece per class.

Materials Needed:  Stringing wire; favorite beads, stones & findings; crimps; open rings; toggles/clasps/hooks.

Duration: 2 – 2 ½ hours                                        Cost: $35.00

 

Earrings – Students will learn to create three basic earring styles.

Materials Needed:  Headpins, chain, & eye pins; favorite beads; ear studs with loop and/or ear wires; jump rings.

Duration: 1½ hours                                              Cost: $25.00

 

Chandelier Earrings – Students will learn how to make beautiful chandelier earrings using small crystals / stones. Three (3) sets of earrings per class.

Materials Needed:  Silver and/or gold chain by the foot; favorite beads, crystals & findings; toggles/clasps/hooks; ear studs with loop and/or ear wires; silver or gold jump / split rings.

Duration: 2 - 2 ½ hours                                         Cost: $35.00

 

Wire Wrapping – Students will learn to work with silver of gold filled wire to create a set of necklace & earrings by linking beads.

Materials Needed:  Silver and/or gold filled wire; favorite beads; toggles/clasps/hooks; ear studs with loop and/or ear wires; jump rings; crimps.

Duration: 2 hours                                                 Cost: $35.00

 

                       

Intermediate Techniques:

Gold/Silver Chain Necklace: Set of necklace & earrings using chain & beads.

Nested Stone Ring: A single stone over a nest of wire ring.

Duration: 2 hours                                                 Cost: $40.00

 

Wrapped Multi-Beads Ring: Multi-bead ring with a wire wrapping technique.

Duration: 1½ hours                                              Cost: $40.00

 

Fun with Rings! Three (3) exciting styles of rings in one class!

Duration: 1½ hours                                              Cost: $40.00

 

Bead Knotting: Knot between beads—pearls, gemstones or crystals to create necklaces and bracelets!

Duration: 2 hours                                                 Cost: $35.00

 

Twist-to-Branch: Wire twisting technique to create fabulous necklaces & chandelier earrings.

Duration: 2 hours                                                 Cost: $40.00

 

Herringbone Weave – 3 part class— Learn this famous wire wrapping technique to create exquisite pendants, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.

We suggest that you arrive 30 - 45 minutes before the hour to select the items / supplies you will need for class. - For your convenience, we offer – free of charge – the use of our tools during classes. - Supplies for the class are purchased separately – you will receive 10% off all merchandise bought to be used in the class. At the beginning of each class, we teach our students how to identify and use the tools, findings, beads, and stringing materials needed for the particular technique / design.
